    Everyone, meet Sayuri Suzuki

    Joining us in Denyo Singapore across 3,257 miles from Japan, is our motivated Assistant Sales Manager, Sayuri Suzuki. Born and raised in Japan, Sayuri has always aspired to connect with people and cultures from around the world. It was in her early twenties that she decided to bite the bullet by leaving her stable job to take up a local education in International Studies – where she aces through with flying colours – and scored her a scholarship opportunity to pursue a second Bachelor’s degree in the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, United States.

    Two years abroad wasn’t exactly smooth sailing as she initially struggled with the language barrier. However, with unwavering determination, she eventually conquered those hurdles and witnessed an entirely new way of life. Experiencing and appreciating the people, its traditions, and its culture has been the centrepiece of her education in International Studies. Where she has also grown to be the bilingual and confident lady that subsequently landed her a position in Denyo Singapore.

    When Sayuri first catches wind from her ex-colleague that Denyo Singapore had an opening for Assistant Sales Manager, she knew that this could be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. With relevant sales experience in the machinery industry, this line of business isn’t a total stranger to her – coupled with the ability to speak fluent English, she was welcomed into the Denyo team and eventually took over Japanese customers in Southeast Asia.

    Time forward 14 months –

    The world as we know it has become more interconnected and her field of study has been useful in helping her cope with the shift between nations. While some hiccups were inevitable, Sayuri has adapted to her role rather quickly with the help of her co-workers and mentor. She has proven to be a team player in her respective department and a capable individual – who goes extra mile for her customer’s needs for reliable products, services and innovative smart solutions.

    Sayuri Suzuki never stops learning    

    As of now, she is learning to be the best of her – but should an opportunity arise in the future, she aims to lead a team and provide guidance to the next wave of Denyo personnel.
