Celebrating The Past, Building For The Future: An Interview With One Of Denyo’s New Generation – Part 5

We continue our series of highlighting a new wave of personnel – young and dynamic trailblazers who have joined the company in recent years, determined to make a difference and shoulder the responsibility of bringing Denyo to even greater heights.

In this week’s interview, we put the spotlight on our Service Engineering Department. They shoulder the heavy responsibility of inspecting each machine. Jason Tan, our modest Assistant Technical Executive, shares his perspectives on Denyo.

    1. How long have you been with Denyo and what is your impression of Denyo so far?

I’ve been with Denyo for close to four and a half years now, and times spent here have been nothing less than satisfying. This is one organisation that displays a perfect example of positive work environment; which to me is very admirable. We work like a tight-knit family, with strong team spirit where every presence is acknowledged; and such provides the motivation for us to strive harder. All these have deeply influenced me.

    2. Why did you join Denyo?

I’ve always wanted to be part of a world-renowned company, and I am proud to say I have achieved that. During my initial interview with the management team, I was truly convinced by their ambitions, and contributions for their employees to expand their career development. For me, that’s a great deal because not many companies emphasise on that ideal.

Deep inside I know, this is the stage I’ve been searching for; to fulfil my thirst for knowledge, and where I can display my talent. I am glad I made the right choice to be a part of such a diverse organisation.

    3. What excites you about your role in Denyo?

In Denyo, I started off as Operations Assistant before assuming my current position. From verifying purchase requisitions to dismantling machines to look for damaged components; this extreme jump in job scope has given me different exposure and valuable knowledge that are benefitting. In this journey, I’ve learnt to effectively multi-task and communicate with my fellow co-workers and customers – and so much more on electrical systems and all the technical intricacies.

It might not have been an easy path, but I’ve not regretted since.

    4. What impresses you most about Denyo?

Adapting to change has never been more crucial in this era, and I’m completely impressed by the fact that Denyo has a clear roadmap for training their employees to sustain and enhance the productivity of the company as a whole.

Knowing my keen interest in Engineering, the Management went the extra mile to fully sponsor my part-time diploma studies in Electrical   Electronic Engineering. With this extensive knowledge, I am ready to assume greater responsibilities and I know it will open up to greater opportunities in the future.thing goes wrong, or an overseas trip to the project site to be on standby in support of the customer, Denyo always goes the extra mile to ensure the best results are delivered.

    5. What has been most memorable so far?

There’s always a strong sense of satisfaction when my customer is pleased with the machine I worked on, and this thought has always pushed me to work harder knowing that they are appreciative of the efforts me and my team had put in.

In Denyo, memorable moments are countless, from fun-filled company trips, activities to monthly events we hold for customers. During these events, I was able to work with my fellow co-workers from other departments in the company to put on the best show for all our customers to see. All these forged a strong bond and a sense of unity within Denyo.

    6. What Denyo products/models do you personally like best? And why?

I envision opportunities. With Denyo consistently spreading its footprint worldwide, empowering people with total power solutions, I foresee myself doing my utmost part in upholding Denyo’s “Zero-Failure” achievement.

I’m extremely honoured to be part of such a dynamic company. With the faith they have in me, I am ready to shoulder more responsibilities, and contribute into building a World of Opportunities with Denyo.
