What Are The Problems?

Fuel leaks occur most commonly during the refuelling of diesel fuel into the fuel tank or when performing a fuel filter replacement. Coolant water leaks can occur if cap screws are not properly tightened, and accidental oil leaks can result from degradation in engine parts.
As conventional generators themselves couldn’t capture leaked liquids, it is mandatory in most countries to place an external tray under an operating diesel generator. However, while the overall capacity of the tray is large enough to hold the leaks, overflowing can occur if rainwater enters the tray during an open-space operation (e.g., a construction site or outdoor event). Not only is it huge and bulky to manoeuvre, but operators also have to constantly make an effort to check the tray to avoid overflowing issues. Because if ignored, it could cause massive damage to the surface it is spilt on, the neighbouring ecosystems, local wildlife, and their reputation as a business.
